The district 9 meeting was called to order at 1:00 pm on January 12th 2020 with the pledge of
allegiance and a moment of silence given, with 18 members, 3 county reps, and 4 guests present.

State News: January State meeting cancelled due to weather. Matt Bretz came to December meeting
to introduce himself and discuss future with Abate. Feb 11, 9-3pm Biker Under the Dome. Discussion of
tri folds needing updating.

Awareness report: Looking for someone interested in awareness and taking over for Mike S. and
Tony M.

Product report: Still have Awareness shirts, District 9 shirts, tags, and memory patches.

Website report: All updated.

Old business: Myrna discussed on Angel tree, food baskets, and other donations made. High Plains
State run May 30 planned for State event. Discussions on ending places and costs. Discussions on stops
within the district and personnel needed for the stops and ending stop.

New Business: Mike S. would like other to keep Rita in their thoughts for Thursday. She will be going
in for surgery. Motion 920-014 made, seconded, and approved for patch’s to be made. Motion 920-015
made, seconded and approved for donation to Human Society in memory of Nancy Janssen. Stoker
award nominations for the year were Brenda D and David Z. David Z was voted for Stoker award.

State News: State has cancelled the May 30 statewide poker run, will need further discussions and planning. Democratic convention March 6, 2020. Motion 920-016 for drinks and donation for convention, made, seconded and approved.

The District 9 Meeting was called to order at 1:10pm on May 10th 2020 with the pledge of allegience and a moment of silence given with 18 members, 3 county reps, and 5 guenst present.

The secetary's report was given and approved. Several events were cancelled.

The treasures's report was given and approved. Motion 920-017 made seconded and approved to pay MRF membership.

State News: Lifetime membership discuss, now added payment plan for lifetime memberships. Fireworks stand discussed. LDR entry fee for Sunday only, $20 members/$30 nonmembers. State would like each district to have one event or ride and proceeds to go to state.

Awareness Report: Propanr tanke on K4 has been repainted.

Old business: Received thank you card from Kanen Shultz, Discussion on motion 919-006, on hold for economic reasons, will get back to this motion at a later date.

New business: Motion 920-018 made, seconded, and approved for fund raiser, proceeds to go to then state. July meeting to be mover to Harvey County West Park. Discussion on members brother passing away. Condolences to the family.

State News:  Discussion on Bluegrass festival next June. Upcoming nominations for president, sgt of arms, recording secretary for state open for a couple months. Nominations so far, Jon P for president, Amber for Secretary, and Rick for Sgt of Arms.

Website report: Not update as Kevin has stepped down. Heather volunteered to take over.

Old business: Letter read about how to bring in members, with a good discussion afterwards. Adding comment section to renewal letter.

New Business: Due to pandemic and concerns, Bob and Juanita have asked to move meeting location. New location of meeting is Harvey county West. Nominations have started at the district. Nominations for District Rep, David Zeller and Ron Davis. Member at large, Russ Walline and Chris Gaddis. Still needing nominations for Secretary position. Work weekend is coming up 3rd weekend in August, needing extra volunteers.

The district 9 meeting was called to order at 1:00 pm on September 13th, 2020 with the pledge of allegiance and a moment of silence given, with 14 members and 4 county reps present.

The treasure’s report was given and approved. Noted insurance cost has went up.

State News:  Discussion on LDR having good weather, signed new members, and people. Several new attendances at rally this year. Make sure to vote for state board members. Discussion on memorial held for Weasel on 9/12/2020.

Old business: Discussion on letter sent in for comments to Board members about membership renewal notices. The renewal for membership letters was discussed as a district and agreed to continue sending out membership renewals as value is seen in the effort. Use ballots out of newsletter and copy if needed, if more than 1 member in household.

New Business: Motion 920-021 made, seconded and approved to order hardware for buttons. Motion 920-022 made, seconded and approved for next drawings item. Brenda, due to personal health issues, will need to step down as treasurer and membership person. Will need person/persons to step up for treasurer and membership person as the board will need to appoint person/persons. Products person will need to address as well. Nominations for District Rep, David Zeller and Ron Davis. Member at large, Russ Walline and Chris Gaddis, Cindy Gaddis for Secretary position. Members start asking for locations to host meetings and attend December meeting to set calendar for the year for meeting.

The district 9 meeting was called to order at 1:05 pm on October 11th, 2020 with the pledge of allegiance and a moment of silence given, with 13 members and 3 county reps present.

State News:  LDR report noted 700 new members signed up. Discussion on the back patches from the state. Attentive date for Bikers under the Dome is Feb 9th pending the capital is open at that time. Democratic and Republican conventions were discussed on cost. State is looking at FB marketplace for selling items from products. District reps are noted to be automatically assigned to security at LDR.

Awareness report: Handed out yard signs. More pole material has been located for highway signs.

Product report: Still have Awareness shirts, District 9 shirts, tags, and memory patches. Needing a products person to take over as products person. Couple people showed interest and will get back to district. Discussion of another person that does screen printing as another source.

Website report: Not updated since March. Discussion on computer programs needed for website.

Old business: Ballots for election must have membership number on the ballot or they do not count. Mail in ballots or come to meeting and vote. Motion 920-023 made, seconded, and approved to reimburse money spent on tickets.

New Business: Motion 920-024 made, seconded, and approved to annex Clay and Washington counties to Dist. 15, pending states approval.  Motion 920-025 made, seconded, and approved to donate to VFW as tip for meal. Motion 920-026 made, seconded and approved to appoint Cindy Gaddis as Treasurer. It has been noticed that during Toy Runs several bikers did not have toys on bikes, this defeats the purpose of the toy runs. Kids standing alongside roads see the bikes and toys and enjoy seeing them. Nominations for District Rep, David Zeller and Ron Davis. Member at large, Russ Walline and Chris Gaddis, Cindy Gaddis for Secretary position. Members start asking for locations to host meetings and attend December meeting to set calendar for the year for meeting.

Old business: Marion Co toy run was successful with 94 bikes and 21 classic cars. Thanks to all that helped at the toy run. Purchased quilt for next years Cloud Co toy run.

New Business: Motion 920-027 made, seconded, and approved to donate to Angel tree.  Motion 920-028 tabled till meeting for further discussion. Winners of the election are as follows, District Rep-David Zeller, Member at large- Russ Walline, Secretary-Cindy Gaddis, Cindy had been appointed Treasurer last month making Kevin McKee the new secretary as he was runner up. Members start asking for locations to host meetings and attend December meeting to set calendar for the year for meeting.
